Urgent! Neglect and abuse cases in Texas & BC need your help!
Yesterday was a sad day for us here at The Old English Sheepdog Rescue of Washington State. We received word from two fronts about dogs suffering from abuse and neglect, and in urgent need of medical care.
TEXAS: Our friends at the Texas Old English Sheepdog Rescue reached out with an urgent plea for donations to address a massive number of medical issues they face with 13 rescues, ranging in age from 8 weeks to 7 years. Many of their dogs suffer from serious conditions that require surgery and lifelong care. PLEASE reach out to them ASAP to help their efforts!

British Columbia: The British Columbia SPCA seized 66 dogs from deplorable conditions at a puppy mill in Langley. Many of the dogs seized are Old English Sheepdogs and all the dogs are reported to be in horrible condition. We’ve learned that they are now in protective custody and receiving medical treatment.
As of this time the government officials in Canada are pursuing a criminal case against the owner of the puppy mill. We’re following the case to see if there’s anything we can do to help, and encourage all of you to do the same.
