OESROWS visits Silverton!

Rescues take over Silverton!

Rescues take over Silverton!

Wow! We’ve had some beautiful fall weather (finally!) here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon so a group of us decided to visit Historic Silverton for a day. Six Old English Sheepdogs made quite the impression as we walked around town and followed up with a visit to The Oregon Garden. Our pack consisted of rescues Maggie, Jack, & GiGi along with non-rescues Declan and his humans Sandy & Erskine Wood, Declan’s visiting buddy Riley, and GiGi’s pal Scooter.

For those of you unfamiliar with our work, Sandy Wood is our organization’s Vice President and volunteers countless hours on behalf of our rescues. It was very special to spend the day out and about with her & Erskine, and their 6 month old puppy Declan who is growing into his role as a tolerant foster friend.

We had a ton of fun, received lots of smiles and loves, and look forward to the next time. If you have a story to tell about places you’ve visited with your rescued Old English Sheepdog we’d love to hear it! Send us a note (with pics!) to oesrows@gmail.com. It’s always wonderful to see how our rescues are loving life!
