The numbers are in! 19 Old English Sheepdogs rescued in 2014
Wow! For a small, regional-based group of dedicated volunteers 19 rescued Old English Sheepdogs is a fantastic success. Of the 19, 4 were “mixties”, and the other 15 were either strays, shelter share dogs, or surrendered by owners for various reasons.
Many great thanks to our friends all across the country who contribute their time and hearts to saving these sweet dogs. Some of you provide immediate services such as pick up and transport, foster care, grooming, veterinary care and more. Others keep a consistent eye out for dogs on Craigslist, shelter websites, and other media then alert us when a need arises.
And then there are you wonderful adoptive families who welcome these furry lovebugs into your homes. It’s not always easy opening your door to an animal, often with little or no knowledge of their past experiences. Many of you dedicate incredible resources of time and money to help ensure the safety and comfort of a rescued Old English Sheepdog.
Every single contribution helps save lives and on behalf of Old English Sheepdogs everywhere-THANK YOU!
Love & Woofs,
The Old English Sheepdog Rescue of Washington State (and beyond!)
