The Old English Sheepdog Rescue of Washington State (OESROWS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer driven organization dedicated to rescuing Old English Sheepdogs. We provide them with food, shelter, veterinary care, grooming and other services, and place them in approved forever homes.

Our organization is operated by a dedicated group of volunteers and relies on charitable contributions to pay for expenses incurred by each rescued Old English Sheepdog. 100% of all donations go directly to the care of our dogs. Donations of services and funding made to OESROWS are tax deductible.
What we do
We facilitate the surrender and adoption processes for Old English Sheepdogs in need of new homes. OESROWS receives dogs into our care from animal shelters, other rescue organizations, breeders, private parties, Craigslist and newspaper ads, and observant citizens reporting abused or neglected dogs.The dogs come from a wide range of backgrounds and often have special needs to consider when adopting.
Our experienced volunteers provide safe shelter, foster care, temperament assessments, grooming, and transportation as needed. Through our vast network we’re able to re-home dogs throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Washington State, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana and beyond.
