2015 Friends of Old English Sheepdogs Picnic

2015 Friends of Old English Sheepdogs Picnic

Chaos and crazy goodness are about the only words to describe a recent gathering of a dozen or so Old English Sheepdogs and their special human friends. For many, this annual event held just south of Portland is a time to touch base, share stories, and affirm our love for the breed. There is always a good mix of rescues and non-rescues, and this year was no exception. In fact, one of our rescues, Titus, travelled all the way from Montana to visit with everyone!

In addition to food and treats, many people brought items for the Clackamas County Dog Services shelter. One of our OESROWS foster dads also spends many hours volunteering at this shelter and we’re truly grateful for all his hard work on behalf of dogs in need. If you are in the Clackamas Oregon area, please stop in and offer them support. They can always use blankets, bedding, collars & leashes, and other items. Share the love!

Until next year, Love & Woofs!
